Ten of Wands

Overview

The Ten of Wands is a card that deals with burdens, busyness, and overwhelm. A hunched figure struggles towards a village, pushing a bundle of ten wands blocking his view. This card represents a final push towards the finish line as well as the burden of all the actions required in our daily lives. Or not required. Sometimes this card can reflect a tendency to hide behind action and hustle and bustle rather than simplify and enjoy life. Sometimes the wands are necessary tasks, and sometimes several or more are inessential. We can put them down, lighten our load, and move forward with more ease. Either way, relief and accomplishment are in sight and very much available with just one more step.
